Recall that due to extremely arid autumn, our specialists decided to completely abandon the sowing of winter rapeseed and the sown areas for winter wheat and barley were increased to 2500 hectares. The winter of this season was mild and did not adversely affect winter crops, the absence of strong frosts served to secure the confident emergence of winter wheat and barley. Our specialists evaluated the safety of wheat germination in 96%, and barley in 93%. On a recent days, a carbamide-ammonium mixture (CAM) is planned to be used for top-dressing winter crops before the beginning of vegetation which will ensure a confident start to young shoots of winter crops.

Sowing of spring crops is planned by the end of March – beginning of April. This year the areas under crops are distributed as follows:

· 500 hectares are allocated for sowing fodder crops, mainly silage corn.

· 1,000 hectares will be planted with corn, namely, a hybrid from the manufacturer of the company Monsanta, which has a high yield, has excellent resistance to drought and is disease-resistant.

· 2500 hectares are intended for sowing of spring barley. This year the choice has again fallen on a grade “Helios” from the domestic originator. This barley variety possesses high indicators of drought resistance, and also tolerance to illnesses. The advantage of “Helios” barley is its resistance to lodging and shedding, which makes it possible to harvest crops without losses. The average yields of this barley are 50-55 q / ha at a potential of 90 c / ha.

· 3500 hectares are taken for sunflower. 700 hectares of these are allocated in a separate farm of one of our companies, Vostok-Agro-Konkrat, and will be planted with a high-oleic sunflower hybrid which oil is an analog of olive oil and is highly valued in Western Europe. Under this program, a hybrid of “Expert” produced by Syngenta. This hybrid of intensive type has the highest yield potential in its segment. The content of oleic acid is estimated at 90%. The remaining 2800 hectares will be planted with a high-intensity hybrid of sunflower “Neoma”, also a producer of Syngenta, which previously showed itself very well. This hybrid is absolutely resistant to 5 races of broomrape, which is the most harmful parasite of sunflower. The most effective method of combating broomrape is the use of Clearfield technology or as it is also called – EuroLiting. Both of the above sunflower hybrids are the best and most popular in the Clearfield production system. At the same time, sulphoammophos will also be introduced into the ground with sowing of sunflower seeds.

The preparatory works carried out in the off-season helped to meet the new season fully armed and the agro-industrial group AgroligaGroup is fully ready for the beginning of spring field works. Despite the fact that the events in the political and economic spheres led to a significant increase in the cost of material and technical resources, the company’s management does not intend to reduce the costs of the fundamental basis of a good harvest. In particular, the decision was made to leave the existing regulation of fertilizer application unchanged as well as not to save on quality seed and plant protection products as well as to focus on increasing the economic efficiency of the production process and the realization of the future crop.
