Agroliga counts on a very good harvest of winter crops

Agroliga started from the beginning of July harvesting early crops. Due to application of new technologies and the fertilizers Agroliga prognoses good harvest this year.

 

Agroliga, which is located in Kharkov region, forecasts, that the winter wheat crop will be 27% better comparing to last year and can achieve 4.5 t / ha. Wheat this year is harvested in 1790 ha (39% of all crops), which is 11% more than last year.

 

The company also started to gather barley and rapeseed on the area, respectively, 910 ha and 460 ha. The expected barley harvest  is 2.6 t / ha and rapeseed 2.2 t / ha. Agroliga plans to complete the harvest of early grain by the end of July.

 

Despite adverse weather conditions in our area in the spring, we hope that this year will be one of the best in terms of harvest our crops, not only for grain, but also for sunflower and maize. Due to application of new technologies, the risk associated with weather is minimized. We focus on the proper selection of seeds, a combination of fertilizers and protection of plants and introduction of advanced agricultural technologies, such as those used by major agricultural companies in the world, - says Alexander Berdnik, Сhairman of the board of directors Agroliga group.

 

Sunflower, used in oil production, is a key product of the company, will be collected at the beginning of autumn. Forecast for sunflower yield this year is excellent as well.
